In lack of public policy and government’s track record, does architecture have the power to kneel down and pick up any median-wage earner, who works in the city, enabling her/him to live, own, and grow in it? Are private initiatives able to find the proper legal and financial frameworks to bypass governmental inaction for the ‘right of housing’ for the sake of public good?
