Role Overview
We are seeking a Site Engineer to join our team in Kuwait City. The Site Engineer will be responsible for supervising and monitoring construction activities, ensuring compliance with design intent, technical specifications, and quality standards. This position requires strong technical knowledge, proactive coordination, and the ability to bridge communication between architects, consultants, and contractors.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor on-site construction activities daily.
- Ensure all works are executed in accordance with approved architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and consultants to resolve technical/site issues.
- Conduct inspections and enforce strict quality control on workmanship and materials.
- Prepare site progress reports and highlight delays, risks, or discrepancies to project managers.
- Review shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
- 4–7 years of professional site supervision experience, preferably in Kuwait or the Gulf.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, technical standards, and local codes.
- Proven ability to coordinate between disciplines (architectural, structural, MEP).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office (knowledge of site management software is a plus).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Fluency in English and Arabic.
