Award for 911 Memorial Museum Design

Mr. Moujaes is the recipient of ‘Architects of Healing’ Presidential Citation by the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Board of Directors, for his role in the design of the World Trade Center Memorial Museum in New York City.

He was amongst 63 honoree ‘architects of healing’ who contributed to the making of the WTC site post September 11. This endeavor included those who worked on the masterplan (Libeskind), the memorial (Handel), the landscape (Peter Walker), the pavilion (Snohetta), the Oculus, (Calatrava), Freedom Tower (SOM), and the Memorial Museum (DBB).
